SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed concerning the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The assistance place made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
